St. Joseph’s Health Centre welcomes new board members

St. Joseph’s Health Centre installed four new board members at its annual general meeting in late June.

The new members are Ray Hunt, chief administrative officer of the Northern Ontario School of Medicine; Andre Durette, director of human resources at Cambrian College; Guy Beaulieu, vice-president of operations for Bonaventure Property Management Inc. and vice-president and comptroller of Pijo Investments Ltd.; Gloria Richer, a retired critical care registered nurse and the former site administrator of St. Joseph’s Villa.

These appointments were endorsed by the board of directors at its special meeting on June 22.

The St. Joseph’s family of operations provides long-term care and continuing care at three facilities: St. Joseph’s Villa, (SJV), a 128-bed long-term care home; St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre (SJCCC), a 64-bed complex continuing care hospital; and Villa Gabriel Villa (VSGV), a 128-bed long-term care home located in Chelmsford.
